THEME FOR A BABY BIRD
g o o s e   d r o p s
m d' s  e x p e r i m e n t a l   b e a t s

duration: 3 min 46 sec

This is a brand new piece of music, in the vein of my two previously posted acoustica/electronica pieces, with a drum'n'bass/jungle tempo and beat, but this time using original material. I recorded it this past weekend while Hannah, Twyla, and me were at my dad's house up in Milwaukee for the weekend. There, my first musical instrument is housed -- the beautiful Kimball piano originally owned by my paternal Grandmother Gert, who first encouraged me to take music lessons. So I brought my drum machine, tube amp, and digital recorder up and experimented with this melody that I've had around for 5 years without the impulse for direction, until I first sang it to Twyla last week, to help her sleep on my chest.

But enough words. Enjoy.
